Jacob Bogatin: Stress and Frustration
64J.Bogatin: Stress and frustration
To concept of a stress condition very close is the following concept - frustration. The term (from an armour. frustratio - a deceit, frustration) – the condition of the person caused objective insuperable (or it is subjective so perceived) the difficulties arising on a way. According to Jacob Bogatin: Frustration is a worried pressure, alarm, despair, anger which cover the person when on a way to achievement of the purpose it meets unexpected hindrances which stir to satisfaction of requirement.
Frustration creates, thus, along with initial motivation the new, protective motivation directed on overcoming of the arisen obstacle. Former and new motivation are realised in emotional reactions. But still no one and Jacob Bogatin as well can not call frustration a beneficiary reaction of the body that doesn’t have any consequences in the future and doesn’t bring harm to the nervous system.
The most widespread reaction on frustration is aggression occurrence directed more often on obstacles. Proper response to an obstacle consists in overcoming or bypassing it if it is possible; the aggression can quickly pass to anger and it is shown in rough and inadequate reactions: the insult, physical attacks to the person (to burn, beat, push) or object (to break it).
In some cases and Jacob Bogatin testifies it that the subject reacts on frustration leaving (for example, leaves a room), accompanied by aggression which is not shown openly.
Frustration involves emotional infringements only when there is an obstacle for strong motivation. For instance, if we take a dummy away from the baby who has already started to drink, the baby reacts with anger, however during the suction there are no emotions displayed.

If one has a particular individual deep need unsatified or suddenly crushed, anger and frustration is the first reaction, I agree!
